The Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance and Career Development

In relation to the innovations in the educational policy of the three agencies, leading in the field of carrying out the quality assurance procedures of the educational programs and professional - public accreditation, concluded the agreement, which purpose is the creation of the National Public Register of the accrediting organizations in the Russian Federation.

The Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance and Career Development (AKKORK), the National Center for Public Accreditation (NCPA) and Association of Engineering Education of Russia (AEER) declared the creation of the "National Public Register of the Accrediting Organizations in Education" association, which activities will promote recognition of national system of an independent assessment, public and professional - public accreditation in education, both in Russia, and at the international level.

The ENQA General Assembly 2013 was organised in cooperation with the Centre for Quality Assessment in Higher Education (SKVC), and was held on 29-30 October, 2013 in Vilnius, Lithuania. AKKORK was represented by Director General Sergei Anisimov and Head of International Office Erika Soboleva.

AKKORK  conducts a conference in course of State Projects carried by AKKORK in the framework of the Federal State Programme on Education Development funded by RF Ministry of Education. These projects are connected with development of sphere of indepedent quality assurance and independent accreditation in Russia, creation of internal systems of quality assurance in the universities, which should be created on the basis of Bologna Declaration principles and ESG, designing mechanism of compliance assessment of the graduates professional competences with the requirements of National Qualifications Framework and criteria of professional standards.

The ENQA Members’ Forum 2013 was organised in cooperation with the Accreditation Commission of the Czech Republic, and was held on 25-26 April, 2013 in Prague, Czech Republic at the Academy of Performing Arts.AKKORK was represented by Director-General Alexey Belokopytov and Deputy Director on Development Sergei Anisimov.

From 8th until 11th April INQAAHE organised its Biennial Conference in Chinese Taipei. The conference host is the Higher Education Evaluation and Accreditation Council of Taiwan (HEEACT). The conference theme is Managing Diversity: Sustainable quality assurance processes.
There are four related subthemes:

1. The QA of cross-border education: from quality providers to quality assured provision
2. Innovative approaches to external QA in tertiary education: not a single approach towards excellence
3. Impact of QA and the effects of external and internal QA: regional perspectives to a shared issue
4. National qualifications frameworks and their links to QA (including involvement of stakeholders)

AKKORK was represented by Head of International Office Erika Soboleva, who was recently elected Board Member of INQAAHE.

APQN Annual Conference was held in Taipei from 7-8 April 2013. AKKORK was represented by Head of International Office Erika Soboleva, who presented a report of the experience of AKKORK assessment in Kazan Federal University.

Soboleva Erica, Head of AKKORK International Office, joined the Board of Directors of the International Network of Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education INQAAHE. This is one of the most reputable organizations involved in assessing the quality of higher education in the world. INQAAHE includes  166 organizations from 69 countries. AKKORK is a full member of the network and participates in the assesment of the quality of higher education and has the right to vote on all decisions.

The ENQA Workshop to agencies undergoing an external review took place in Paris, France, on 21-22 January. AKKORK was presented there by senior manager of International Office – Tatiana Bairampas.

22-24 November 2012, in Tallin was held 7TH European Quality Assurance Forum (EQAF). In the framework of the Forum Head of AKKORK International Office Erika Soboleva and Member of the AKKORK Advisory Council Petr Timoshin made a report on the collaboration experience between AKKORK and All-Russian Students Union.
