On February 26, 2010 in an interregional center for professional development of teaching stuff in technical and vocational education of the West-Kazakhstan agrarian-Technical University named after Zhangir Khan took place the international seminar “Methodological tolls for assessment and accreditation of vocational and technical education.”
Key points of the session brought together under the roof of one of the largest universities in Kazakhstan an international team of experts in quality evaluation and assessment.
Among the participants, who gave a speech before the heads of educational institutions of Kazakhstan were: Representatives of the strategic center for research and analysis of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan; the National Accreditation Center of Kazakhstan; the Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance and Career Development (AKKORK); the Republican scientific-methodical center of technical and vocational education and qualifications conferment.
Participants discussed current issues concerning arrangement and carrying out institutional and specialized accreditation of technical and vocational educational institutions within the framework of international experience. All members noted a high level of arrangement activity, headed by the Rector of West-Kazakhstan Agrarian Technical University – Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, professor, academician of NAN RK Bozymov Kazybai Karaevich and had an opportunity to get acquainted with an excellent material and technical basis of the University, establish links with colleagues and share experience.
