III All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference “Challenges and Solutions in Electric and Heat Power Industry Staffing”20.11.20
On November 18-19, 2020, the Third All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference “Challenges and Solutions in Electric and Heat Power Industry Staffing” was held online at Moscow Power Engineering Institute.It is a discussion platform for sharing experiences and opinions on ensuring effective interaction between employers and the academic community in professional education for electrical and heat engineering, aimed at improving the quality of education. This conference for the third time brings together experts - representatives of employers in the field of Electrical and Heat Engineering and representatives of universities that implement programs in these fields.

- Organization of effective interaction between employers and the academic community in professional education

- Professional and public accreditation of educational programs

Representatives of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, Association "ERA of Russia", All-Russian industrial association of energy suppliers, companies RusHydro and Mosenergo, representatives of universities of the Russian Federation and expert organizations participated in the conference as speakers.
Erika Soboleva, Director General of AKKORK, gave the report “Experience of developing standards for education quality assurance and of conducting professional and public accreditation procedures by the Council for Professional Qualifications in the Electric Power Industry”.

The cooperation between AKKORK and the Association "ERA of Russia" (Association RAEL), Council for Professional Qualifications in the Electric Power Industry of the Russian Federation (ESPK) began in July 2017 with the conclusion of the Cooperation Agreement, according to which AKKORK is "authorized to organize and conduct professional and public accreditation of educational programs, vocational training programs and (or) further vocational training programs".
During the three years of cooperation between AKKORK and ESPK, expert reviews and decisions have been made on professional and public accreditation of educational programs, in accordance with the requirements of professional standards in Electric and Heat Power Industry field in the leading universities of Russia: Siberian Federal University, Dubna University, Kazan State Energy University, Tyumen Industrial University, Russian University of Economics named after G.V. Plekhanov.
