The Best educational programs in the field of service and tourism will be named by AKKORK and Federation of Restaurateurs and Hoteliers15.01.15
Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance and Career Development (AKKORK) in conjunction with the Federation of Restaurateurs and Hoteliers (FRiO) announces the launch of the All-Russian contest "The best educational program in the following directions: "Catering Technology", "Service", "Hotel Industry", "Hotel service", "Tourism", the implementation of which will be carried out in the period from January to December 2015.As part of this project AKKORK and Federation of Restaurateurs and Hoteliers (FRiO) provide the independent external evaluation of the quality of education and professional public accreditation of educational programs of higher education, vocational secondary education, and continuing professional education in order to execute the decisions of the Government of the Russian Federation on carrying out 2018 FIFA World Cup in accordance with international standards.
Assessment of the quality of the educational program will be based on the determination of the correspondence between the practice of teaching and professional industry standards developed by FRiO. Expert opinion will not only assess the state of the teaching-learning process, but also will take advantage of the recommendations to improve the quality of education, and to develop a strategy for the development of this area of study.
According to the results of an independent evaluation procedure the Accreditation Board of FRiO will choose the best educational programs and educational organizations in Russia, implementing programs of the directions announced above, and form a rating of programs. Five best educational institutions that implement the declared programs will be further specified by FRiO. Alumni, passed professional public accreditation in the Federation of Restaurateurs and Hoteliers and received a certificate of quality, will have an advantage in employment in the organization (restaurants, hotels, etc.), taking the participants and guests of the World Cup in 2018.
The universities and colleges of the country who seek to confirm the quality and guarantee the quality of education on ongoing educational programs are invited to participate in the contest "The best educational program in the following directions: "Catering Technology", "Service", "Hotel Industry", "Hotel service", "Tourism".
