North-Caucasus Federal University has held the webinar on professional public accreditation.30.11.14
On November 25, 2014 a webinar on social and professional public accreditation of professional education programs was held. It was organized by the Institute of Fundamental and Applied Research of SCFU.The event was attended by over 40 representatives of the executive authorities of the Russian Federation and the subjects of the Russian Federation, and also by representatives of educational institutions of the North Caucasus and Southern federal districts of Moscow and the Republic of Crimea.
The purpose of the webinar was to familiarize the public with the academic content developed under the project of the Federal Target Program for the Development of Education of the methodology for taking into consideration the results of professional public accreditation of vocational education programs, as well as to expand understanding of possible use of its results in the procedure of state accreditation, certification of qualification and rating.
Among the issues under participants’ discussion: correlation of concepts of public and professional public accreditation; norms of Russian legislation governing the current accreditation of educational organizations; mechanisms of professional public accreditation of professional education programs; international and domestic practice of forming a rating of educational institutions of higher education; criteria for profitability analysis of professional public accreditation of vocational education programs in the form of ratings of educational organizations and programs in the Crimean Federal District.
The experts on independent evaluation and professional public accreditation were Sergey Anisimov, Director General of the Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance and Career Development (AKKORK), Lyudmila Stepanchenko, Deputy Director General of AKKORK and the Head of Partnership Projects Development, Vadim Kovalev, Deputy Executive Director of the Interregional Public Organization "Association of Managers", Elena Khalevinskaya, an expert of AKKORK and Rosobrnadzor et al.
