ENQA BOARD STATEMENT 11.03.22
On 10th of March, 2022 ENQA Board have decided to suspend the rights of Member and Affiliate agencies in Russia. The agencies affected are:
- National Accreditation Agency of the Russian Federation (NAA), member
- National Centre of Public Accreditation (NCPA), member
- Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance and Career Development (AKKORK), affiliate
- Russian Register Certification Association, affiliate
The suspend of Russian ENQA Member and Affiliate organizations implies that these organizations cannot:
- attend events held by ENQA,
- have access to a secure version of the site by login and password,
- promote themselves as an ENQA member (use the ENQA logo),
- participate in the ENQA General Assembly.
ENQA place no responsibility for this war on our colleagues and look forward to being able to welcome them back as colleagues and friends into our work. They will keep this suspension under review and will maintain communication with colleagues in Russia.
Other Associations of Higher Education Quality Assurance Agencies - International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies (INQAAHE) and the Asia-Pacific Quality Network (APQN), of which AKKORK is a member, did not impose any restrictions on Russian agencies.
