As part of the IX National Congress "Modernization of Russian industry: Priorities for Development" held on 6-7 October 2014 a Joint Meeting of the Committee of the Chamber of Commerce of the Russian Federation on promotion of professional and business education, and the Joint Meeting of the Committee of Chamber of Commerce of the Russian Federation on promotion the Modernisation and Technological Development of Russia's Economy were held, which was attended by Sergey Anisimov, Director General of the Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance and Career Development (AKKORK).

The solemn certificates presentationhas become a closing stage of the external independent quality assessment procedure of educational programs and of professional and public accreditation procedure of the Russian State Social University. Sixteen RSSU programs got a conformity confirmation of the graduates’ education level with the requirements of the labor market in several employers’ associations.

Rating agency «Expert RA» at support of and initiated by the foundation «Vol’noedelo»of Oleg Deripaska composed the third annual rating of the Higher Education Institutions of Russia. While preparing the rating there were used statistical indicators, and there were realized widespread surveys among 7.5 thousands of respondents: employers, representatives of academic and scientific circles, students and graduates.

On June 17-18, 2014 in Moscow there will take place a workshop «Qualifications’ certification account in the procedure of education quality assessment». In the course of the workshop the discussion of issues is planned, related to the qualifications’ certification system development, taking into account the qualifications’ certification results in the procedures of independent assessment of education quality and in procedures of state accreditation of education activity, competitiveness growth of vocational education programs and education institutions as a whole.

Following the results of an independent assessment of education programs, conducted by the AKKORK experts together with the experts from the employers’ association, there took place a meeting of the OPORA ROSSII Accreditation council, where the question on the programs’ accreditation of the Russian State Social University, the Moscow State Art and Cultural University and Noyabrsk college for professional and informational technologies.
